The Stinger XL has been a favorite in the knife community, with its distinct spear point blade shape. It was a natural progression to incorporate this blade design into the Rapid Fire series. The Rapid Fire Stinger's blade shape is slightly wider and shorter than the XL, due to the different overall geometry of the Rapid Fire's design. This creates a very robust spear point blade that's built to handle heavy-duty tasks in all conditions.

The Rapid Fire Stinger features Cryogenic D2 blade steel, the same used in our durable Tracker-X2 and Ridgeback fixed blade knives. D2 is an exceptionally tough, nearly stainless steel with excellent corrosion resistance, edge retention, and hardness (HRC 61). To further enhance its benefits, we employ a cryogenic treatment and Titanium Nitride (TINI) coating, providing additional corrosion resistance, durability, scratch/peel resistance, and a non-reflective finish.

The Rapid Fire series is Off-Grid's only assisted-opening knives, designed for lightning-fast deployment. Once you grip this knife and pull the trigger, you'll understand why it's called the "Rapid Fire" - the action is incredibly quick and authoritative.

The Rapid Fire's handle scales utilize an elongated honeycomb texture that has been a proven favorite among our customers. This textured G10 provides a comfortable, confident four-finger grip, even with gloves. The scales are secured with non-strip T8 Torx screws for added strength.

Although the Rapid Fire knives are on the larger side for everyday carry, they carry discreetly. The deep-carry pocket clip can be positioned for left or right-side, tip-up carry. Even with its substantial size, you'll nearly forget it's there until you need it.

For tactical confidence, we've added grippy jimping in key areas on the spine, thumb ramps on the G10, and a non-slip zone at the back of the handle. The Rapid Fire Stinger will always be ready to deploy and handle any demanding situation.
